Privacy Policy
The short version: Farting Chicken collects nothing about you. Nothing at all.
Last updated: 18 July 2026
The short version: the app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The only thing it ever sends anywhere is your own game progress, to your own iCloud account, and only if you have iCloud turned on. That sync is optional and you can switch it off. We never see any of it.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers the Farting Chicken app for iPhone and iPad, and the website at fartingchicken.com. Both are operated by Everyday Insight LLC (“we”, “us”).
2. Information the app collects
None.
The app does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Specifically, it does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact information
- Account credentials. There are no accounts and no way to sign up
- Location data of any kind
- Photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or calendar access
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or fingerprinting signals
- Usage analytics, crash telemetry, or behavioral data
- Payment information. There are no in-app purchases
This is not just a policy commitment. Beyond Apple’s own iCloud sync, described in section 3, the app makes no network requests at all: no HTTP requests to servers we run, no third-party SDKs, no analytics libraries, no advertising frameworks. There is no server on our side for your data to reach. The app can open this website in Safari if you tap the privacy or support link and pass the parental gate, but that is your browser making an ordinary page request, and it sends us nothing about you.
3. Game progress and iCloud (optional)
The app saves your game progress on your device: which levels you have completed, your star ratings, your high scores, how much corn you have earned, and which capes and fart styles you have unlocked. Your sound, music and screen preferences are also saved, but stay on that device only.
iCloud sync is optional and entirely under your control. If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress is also synced through your own iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, so starting the game on your iPad picks up where your iPhone left off. If iCloud is off, or you switch it off later, the game keeps working normally and simply saves to that device alone.
This is worth being precise about:
- The data goes to your iCloud account, not to us. We operate no server and have no way to read, access or retrieve it.
- It contains only game progress. No name, no email, no identifiers, nothing about you personally.
- It is covered by Apple’s privacy policy and by whatever iCloud settings you already have.
- You can switch it off. Turn off iCloud Drive for Farting Chicken in iOS Settings and the game keeps working normally, saving to that device only.
- Deleting the app removes the local copy. To also clear the iCloud copy, sign out of iCloud or remove the app’s iCloud data in iOS Settings.
4. Children’s privacy (COPPA and similar laws)
Farting Chicken is suitable for children, and plenty of children play it. We take that seriously.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone of any age, including children under 13, because we do not collect personal information from anyone at all. There is no mechanism in the app through which a child could disclose personal information to us, to any third party, or to another user. There are no chat features, no user profiles, no user-generated content, and no social features.
Because no information is ever collected, there is nothing for a parent to review, correct, or request the deletion of. If you have questions about this, please contact us using the details in section 10.
5. Third parties
The app integrates no third-party services. No analytics providers, no advertising networks, no crash reporting services, no social media SDKs, no attribution or measurement partners. Apple is the only outside party involved, through the App Store and through iCloud sync, and in both cases the relationship is between you and Apple.
Apple operates the App Store and may collect information when you download or update the app, independently of us. That processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, not this one. From Apple we receive only aggregate, anonymized download and sales figures, never information about individual users.
6. This website
fartingchicken.com is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels, and loads no third-party fonts, scripts or resources. There is nothing on this site to consent to, which is why you were not shown a cookie banner.
As with any web host, Cloudflare processes standard server request data (such as IP address and browser type) in order to deliver the page and protect against attacks. We do not have access to individually identifiable logs and do not use this data for any purpose. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
7. Advertising and tracking
There is currently no advertising in the app or on this website. We do not track users across apps or websites, and we take no part in any advertising network or data broker arrangement. Since we do not track you, “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals are honored by default. There is nothing to opt out of.
If advertising is ever introduced, this page will be updated first and the change will be described plainly, including what any advertising partner would receive. We would not add advertising to a version of the app already installed without saying so.
8. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar)
Privacy laws such as the EU’s GDPR, the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing.
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, port, or delete, and no processing to object to. We have never sold or shared personal information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we do not engage in targeted advertising or profiling.
If you wish to remove everything the app has stored about your gameplay, delete the app from your device.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may change. If a future version of the app adds something that requires collecting data, or introduces advertising, we will update this page, change the “last updated” date above, and describe what changed in plain language instead of burying it. Any such change applies going forward only.
